The county is five distinct markets that happen to share a boundary. Here is what doing business in each one looks like from a search point of view, and the nearest work we can show you.
Halifax is where Halizona is based, so it is the town we know best. Calderdale business is heavy on construction, trades, engineering and manufacturing, with a lot of established family firms in the valley towns around it, and most of the searches that matter here are a service with Halifax or a neighbouring town on the end.
RB Electrical is a Halifax client: an average of around two organic leads a week for five years, from a site where every service has its own page. Standeven Flooring in Hipperholme and Bond Brickwork in Brighouse are both within a few miles of the office.
Huddersfield has a big spread of trades, property, manufacturing and professional services businesses, many of them family-run and long established. Searches here are often very specific: a named service, a named area like Holmfirth or Lindley, and increasingly a question typed into an AI assistant.
Dolphin Heating is the Huddersfield example. Fay is number one on Google for female gas engineer Huddersfield and named in the AI answer, because the site was built around the words her customers actually use. Bond Brickwork sits on the Brighouse side of the boundary with an HD postcode, which is why their own site describes them as based in Huddersfield.
Bradford is the biggest of the five and the most varied. Construction, property, engineering, manufacturing, logistics and a large number of B2B services all compete for searches that stretch from the city centre out through Shipley and Bingley towards the Aire Valley. Rankings can differ from one side of the district to the other, because the district is so wide.
The closest work we can point to is Jack Lunn’s Flower Meadows development in Bradford, which we filmed from the drone as part of their video and marketing strategy work. Halifax is next door, so getting on site in Bradford for photography or filming is straightforward.
Leeds is the most competitive search market in the county by a distance. Every service has a page one full of established firms, national brands and agencies with big budgets, and a business on the outskirts is competing with the city centre for the same searches. Being specific about the part of Leeds you serve and the exact work you do is what gets a smaller firm seen.
Bond Brickwork’s Swarcliffe site in east Leeds is one we photographed from the air. Standeven Flooring fitted the M&S Food store in Pudsey, which we filmed as it happened, and Jack Lunn, a long-established Leeds main contractor, works with us on drone, video and marketing strategy.
Keighley is the smallest of the five and, in our experience, the least contested, so a specific service done properly can rank well here sooner than it would in Leeds. Engineering and manufacturing are still a big part of the town, Haworth brings a tourism and hospitality trade, and plenty of tradespeople serve the whole Aire Valley from here, up past Silsden to Skipton over the border in North Yorkshire.
We have no named Keighley client to show you yet, so we will not pretend otherwise. The nearest work is Jack Lunn’s Flower Meadows development in Bradford, and Halifax is a little over half an hour away by car.

Skipton is over the border in North Yorkshire, so we treat it as a nearby area, and we are currently working with High Corn Mill there.
Halifax, close to the middle of the county. That is the only office, and from it Huddersfield and Bradford are around half an hour away, Keighley and Leeds under an hour. We visit for photography, filming and meetings, and the rest of the work happens from Halifax.
Longer than in one town, because each place is its own competition. A specific service in Keighley or Halifax can move within a few months. Leeds takes longer for the same service, and the county-wide picture usually builds over a year or more as the town pages, the reviews and the mentions accumulate.
